Grove Leisure Centre (also known as Grove Wellbeing Centre) on York Road has a gym with cardio machines and free weights, a 25-metre pool for lane swimming and aqua aerobics, and a teaching pool for lessons. The sauna is available for relaxation after training. Group classes include yoga, Pilates, group cycle, HIIT, circuits and dance fitness all week, with aqua aerobics proving popular with locals. There is a martial arts space for dedicated training, a sports hall for badminton, and soft play with trampolining that kids love. Junior fitness sessions, over-50s classes and rehabilitation programmes are also available. Birthday parties are held regularly in the safari-themed soft play area suitable for children up to 10. York Road train station is a short walk away, close to Grove Playing Fields. The centre is operated by GLL under the Better brand on behalf of Belfast City Council.
