World of Owls is a registered charity (NIC100938) and Northern Ireland's premier Owl, Bird of Prey and Exotic Animal Conservation Centre, located within the beautiful Randalstown Forest. The centre aims to ensure the survival of owls throughout the world through rescue, conservation, education, research and restoration of their natural habitat. Facilities include indoor and outdoor display areas, a shop, small cafe, outdoor displays, walks, a play area, and wheelchair-accessible pathways. The centre runs an education programme designed to facilitate the National Curriculum's key stages, helping young people learn about environmental and ecological issues. World of Owls is the only provider in Ireland of the vocational Lantra Award for Falconry. The site has a wide collection of owls, other birds of prey, reptiles, mini beasts, and other exotic animals, most of which have been rescued.
Summer timetable operates April to October 2026. May close occasionally due to weather, emergencies or staff availability - call ahead if travelling a distance.
