Ramsey Island (Ynys Dewi) is a 259-hectare RSPB nature reserve off the coast of St Davids in Pembrokeshire, West Wales. The island is home to breeding seabirds including guillemots, razorbills, choughs and peregrine falcons, plus a large Atlantic grey seal population. Boat trips depart daily from St Davids / Whitesands (April to October) operated by Thousand Islands Expeditions, who hold the sole landing rights. Visitors can explore the island's coastal paths, enjoy spectacular views, and spot wildlife including dolphins and porpoises. The island is owned by the RSPB and is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI).

Seals come to pup on the remote beaches in late summer. In late summer and autumn Grey Seals pup on all the island's beaches. With wildfire risk currently extremely high, we urge visitors to take extra care by avoiding any activity that could start a fire and immediately reporting any signs of smoke or fire to 999 to help protect people and wildlife. Please note, some of our nature reserves are closed due to wildfires, please check before you travel.
