Whitesands Bay (Welsh: Porth Mawr) is a Blue Flag beach situated on the St David's peninsula in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. Known as the best surfing beach in Pembrokeshire, it offers a wide expanse of fine white sand with rocky headlands at both ends. The beach has lifeguard patrols from late May to early September, toilet facilities, a cafe, and a private car park.
Dog restrictions apply to the entire length of the beach between 1st May and 30th September. Lifeguards patrol between end of May and beginning of September.
