Bangor Beach is a popular sandy beach and promenade along the seafront of Bangor, County Down, on the southern shore of Belfast Lough. The beach area features a picturesque promenade that leads from the town centre along the coastline, past the prestigious marina. Families can enjoy the sandy shore, calm waters for paddling, and the nearby Pickie Fun Park which offers children rides and amusements. The promenade is ideal for walks, cycling, and pushchairs. Bangor Marina, one of the largest in Ireland with Blue Flag status, is adjacent. Other nearby attractions include Ward Park, Bangor Aurora Aquatic and Leisure Complex, and the historic McKee Clock. The seafront also offers several cafes, restaurants, and ice cream shops within walking distance.
