The Playhouse is one of the most dynamic and creative Arts Centres in Northern Ireland. Established in 1992, it hosts over 150 nights of theatre, opera, music, comedy, dance and children's entertainment annually to audiences of over 15,000. Regular weekly workshops for children include ballet, Irish dancing, and speech and drama classes. The Playhouse also runs creative workshops, arts education and peace-building programmes.
