What’s there

Stonehaven Beach is a beautiful crescent of sand and shingle on the north-east coast of Scotland, just south of Aberdeen. The beach is great for families with plenty of space for sandcastles, paddling in the shallows, and exploring rock pools at either end. The long promenade is ideal for pushchair-friendly walks, and the beach is close to Stonehaven Harbour with its shops, cafés and the historic Ship Inn.
