Duthie Park is a much-loved 44-acre Victorian park in the Ferryhill area of Aberdeen, gifted to the city in 1880 by Elizabeth Crombie Duthie. The park features beautifully restored Victorian features including a bandstand, fountains, and a boating pond. It boasts two childrens play areas - one for younger children and another adventurous play space voted best in Scotland - plus an astro turf area for ball games. The famous David Welch Winter Gardens house one of the most visited public indoor plant collections in Scotland with tropical and arid houses. The park also has a popular cafe, orienteering courses, and wildlife trails. Open 24 hours daily.

Winter Gardens has seasonal hours: 10:30-17:00 March to October, 10:30-16:00 November to February. Closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day, 1 Jan, 2 Jan.
