Known locally as 'The Himalayas' putting course, this historic seaside putting green at West Sands is operated by the St Andrews Ladies' Putting Club, the world's oldest ladies' golf club, established in 1867. Originally laid out by the legendary Old Tom Morris, the course features undulating greens with 'peaks and troughs' that give it its Himalayan nickname. With both 9-hole and 18-hole courses available, it offers fun for all ages (6+) and is open to men, women, and children. Set against the stunning backdrop of West Sands beach, this family-friendly crazy golf venue is a must-visit for anyone coming to the home of golf.
Open to the public on weekends in March, then daily from April to October. Tee times should be booked in advance online, especially in peak summer months.
