East Sands Leisure Centre has a gym with state-of-the-art equipment, a swimming pool with a toddlers' pool, and a health suite including a steam room and spa pool. The venue offers public swimming and lane swimming sessions throughout the week, plus Aqua Fun Sessions with pool inflatables, big floats, and flumes. There are group fitness classes including yoga, pilates, aqua aerobics, line dancing and bootcamp. A separate Fun Session runs on Tuesday and Thursday mornings during summer school holidays. The centre has a climbing wall, squash courts, and family changing facilities. It's situated beside East Sands beach with parking available and ramp access, unassisted wheelchair access, disabled parking, and waterproof wheelchairs available.
