Loch Tay is the largest body of fresh water in Perth and Kinross, stretching 14.5 miles (23 km) through stunning Highland scenery. The loch is a popular destination for watersports including kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), sailing, and canoeing. The area is also home to the Scottish Crannog Centre, a unique prehistoric reconstruction on the loch's shores. Nearby Kenmore village offers a picturesque setting at the eastern end of the loch. The surrounding hills provide excellent walking and wildlife viewing opportunities, making it a fantastic family day out in Perthshire.
