Byres Farm Story Barn

Nestled on the banks of the River Spey, Byres Farm invites you to experience the magic of a real working farm up close, in a safe environment. Farmed by the Smith family, this mixed arable and livestock farm grows malting barley for the Speyside Whisky industry and keeps beef cattle and sheep. The family have created a unique facility to allow children and the public to see first-hand what happens on a real farm. Byres Farm offers Day tickets, weekly groups for pre-school children and seasonal events for all ages. Farm tours, group outings, corporate and travel trade packages are also offered. There are also a series of farm walks and a self-service coffee shop available. Activities include animal feeding, pedal tractors, a natural play area, football, archery, a straw bale frame, and an enclosed play garden.
