Morpeth skatepark is an all concrete park located by the tennis courts in Carlisle Park. The skatepark follows a small back and forth layout, starting on one side with a flat bank next to a quarter pipe that opens up onto a fun box in the middle with a hubba and hipped banks. Following this is a bowled corner with an adjoining flat bank and a stair set with a rail leading off the top platform. Morpeth skatepark is a nice local park with smooth surfaces and a range of features suitable for most disciplines and abilities. The skatepark opened in July 2005 following six years of fundraising and campaigning.
During the winter period the flood lights will be on between the hours of 4:30 and 8:30pm.
