Redesdale Equestrian (trading as Otterburn Riding Centre) is a friendly equestrian centre situated in the picturesque surrounds of the Redesdale Valley between the villages of Otterburn and Elsdon in Northumberland National Park.
The centre offers horse riding lessons and pony care sessions for adults and children of all ages. Lessons are taught by owner Helen Dodd, a UKCC Level 2 Equestrian Coach with BHS qualifications, equine-specific First Aid and Child Protection qualifications. Helen has competed at the British Championships and numerous international three-day events, and has helped many adults regain their confidence and taught many young children to ride.
Facilities include an all-weather outdoor arena with lighting, mirrors, a horsewalker, and a reception building with viewing area. The centre also offers livery, schooling and competition services.
Please note: lessons are available for riders who have their own horse or pony.
**Prices:** - 45 minute private lesson: £28 - 45 minute semi-private lesson: £18 each
