What’s there
- Café on site
- Free parking
There is ample parking space at the Oakengates Centre Car Park, adjacent to the theatre. Parking is free.
Only facilities we’ve confirmed are listed — anything missing here we simply haven’t checked, rather than know to be absent.
IMPORTANT: the theatre building is CLOSED. It shut in March 2025 for a major redevelopment, the main auditorium has been stripped and demolition of the main hall is under way. Telford and Wrekin Council expect the rebuilt theatre to reopen in winter 2026. Do not travel to Limes Walk expecting a performance.
In the meantime the organisation still programmes shows as Telford Theatre @ Oakengates, but they take place at other venues around the borough - Telford Town Park Amphitheatre and Telford International Centre among them. Each show listing on telfordtheatre.com names the venue it actually plays at, so check that before setting off. There is family programming when it runs: family tickets for groups of four including at least two children, concessions for ages 2-16 and under-2s free.
When it reopens the new building is planned to have a larger main auditorium, a separate studio theatre, a community art room, a new foyer, a dining area and a bar.
