Quarry Park covers 29 acres in a loop of the River Severn and has been open since 1719. The Dingle is a sunken garden with seasonal floral displays. There's a children's play area, Darwin's Island of Adventure, and a splash park. Tree-lined walks, ornamental rose beds, and memorial seats dot the grounds. The park hosts large events including the Shrewsbury Food Festival and Shropshire Oktoberfest, and has a history of outdoor performances. It remains open 24 hours throughout the year.
