The forest is known for family cycling trails and single-track cross-country mountain biking, including a Pedal & Play trail for children learning off-road cycling. You can hire bikes from the cycle centre, picnic in the grounds or eat at the café. There's also an interactive Room on the Broom trail with themed activities.
