The Royal Shakespeare Theatre is a 1,018-seat main auditorium situated on Waterside alongside the River Avon. A Grade II listed building retaining art deco features of the 1932 Shakespeare Memorial Theatre, it reopened in November 2010 after a three-year transformation. The theatre regularly performs Shakespeare's plays and other works. Facilities include a staffed cloakroom, accessible toilets on each floor, baby changing facilities on the ground floor and Rooftop Restaurant, all-gender toilets on the ground level, and drinking water available at bars during intervals. There is a Riverside Cafe on the ground floor and a Rooftop Restaurant and Cocktail Bar on the third floor.
