Pili Palas at Menai Bridge on Anglesey is full of butterflies, bugs and reptiles, with play areas too, a warm indoor-and-out day for curious children.
SUMMER (28 Mar-31 Oct): Open daily 10:00-17:30, last admission 15:45. WINTER (5 Jan-13 Feb): Mon-Fri zoo closed, soft play 10:00-17:30; Weekends zoo 10:00-16:30, soft play 10:00-17:30. 14 Feb-27 Mar: Zoo 10:00-17:00, soft play 10:00-17:30 daily (soft play only Mon-Fri until 27 Mar). Online booking advised during school holidays.
